Born and raised in Sarnia, I've always considered it my hometown. My church journey began with the Salvation Army in my early years. After a hiatus, I started attending Trinity in 1973 with my future mother-in-law and have been actively involved ever since.
Over my 44 years at Trinity, I've contributed in various roles, including singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School, leading the facility revamp team (FIT team), serving as Parish Council secretary, and participating in major play productions. I also worshiped through the Praise Band and Praise Singers under Joy Cafazzo's leadership.
In 2016, when Joy retired, I felt a divine nudge to step up. Initially volunteering on a trial basis, I eventually took on the Music Director role, finding comfort and a heightened awareness of God's work in my life through this ministry.
Outside Trinity, I've worked for 27 years as a secretary at a Construction Trade Union Hall. My husband Doug and I proudly embrace our roles as parents to three adult children and grandparents to Cole, Chloe, and Blythe.
Blessed to be part of Trinity, I eagerly anticipate continuing to serve in whatever capacity God directs me.
